Goa Airport

Goa Airport is locally referred to as Dabolim Airport as it is situated in Dabolim a small town that is around 4 kilometres away from the nearest major city of Vasco Da Gama and about 23 kilometres from the next major city of Margao and around 30 kilometres from the capital of the state of Goa, Panaji. Dabolim Airport is the only international airport of Goa and caters to domestic flights from all corners of India. It is a military airbase operating from acivil enclave.

Dabolim Airport had its own integrated terminal built in December 2013. In the year 2017-18, Dabolim Airport saw more than 7.6 million passengers. Dabolim Airport was built way back in 1955 and spreads over an area of 688 hectares. The airport has an integrated terminal that caters to both Indian and International passengers. This terminal is equipped ably to handle five million passengers year on year. The airport is fully equipped with facilities such as 75 check-in counters and 22 immigration counters for departures. Similarly, it has around 18 immigration counters for arrivals, 14 security check booths and 8 customs counters for the benefit of the tourists.

Dabolim Airport operates flights of various different Airways such as Air India, GoAir, SpiceJet, Vistara, Qatar Airways, Thomas Cook Airlines, AirAsia India, Oman Air, SpiceJet and various others more.
