Candolim Beach

Candolim is another serene beach famous for relaxing, sun bathing, lazing on the sands and indulging in a variety of water sports. During winters in the month of December, Candolim Beach celebrates the Sunburn Festival for three days. The joyous revellers have fun with a lot of dance, music, shopping, food and other entertainment. Candolim Beach is also popular on account of its throbbing night life and thus is an all-time favourite among tourists. If you are party buff, you can visit places such as Shiro Nightclub, Club LPK, Pharos to enjoy thobbing loud music, amazing cocktails, generous mocktail, happy carefree dancing  and other entertainment options.

Candolim Beach has several tourist attractions located nearby. The Chapel of St. Lawrence is a beautiful Chapel that lies on the shore of Aguada Bay. It is a fabulous scenic spot and very suitable for photography. Aguada Fort is itself is a very popular tourist attraction. It is a beautiful fort constructed by the Portuguese in 1912. One can see the fort surrounded by Aguada Jail, Church and a lighthouse. Apart from its historical significance, it also commands a picturesque view from the top of the wild sea and the waves crashing and forming spray of white surf. The famous Calangute and Candolim beaches lie to its northern side.
