Agonda Beach

Agonda Beach is a perfect beach for relaxing and enjoying the seas. The beach seems to extend for miles with a pristine touch of beauty and serenity. Distance wise it is around 43 kilometres from Margao and 76 kilometres from Panaji the two major cities of Goa. Agonda Beach is somewhat isolated and it is this quality that attracts tourists who wish to run away from the maddening crowd.

Reaching Agonda Beach is fairly easy as the closest railway station is Margao, 46 kilometres away. The local railway station Canacona is a mere 20-minute drive from Agonda and even auto rickshaws ply between these distances. Thus public transport and cheap transportation options are not far from reach. The beach area poses a beautiful landscape, silence and peace.
